I lead the communications satellite program on a few projects. I've already completed two projects: GSAT 12 and GSAT 10. And three more to come GSAT 9, 17 and 18.MY PATH TO SPACE
I think I must have been around 7-8 years old at the time when the first Apollo program landed on the moon. It was something very exciting. And probably the other reason, I always liked to get into space was: firstly, my name means "a star". Anuradha is a star. When I found out it means “star”, I naturally wanted to see where my star is. I would be looking into the sky and looking into the stars. Looking at constellations, identifying them. These were all games we played: who could recognise which constellation. That's how it started blooming. I think though the importance thing to us was the Apollo, when it was launched... It was something unimaginable for us.MY ADVICE TO SPACE GIRLS
I have one thing to say, "Please, pursue what is there in your heart". Don't get pressurised by any other social stigma. There are no actual limitations for anyone. Limitations are set by our own minds. All things like family culture, religious culture and national culture, should be considered as layers of protection for us. So that we are protected. But, at the same time, we have to make sure they don't become a cage.
